Strengthening University - Enterprise Linkages for Innovation
The “Enterprise Day 2026” is a key event marking the 3rd anniversary of the School of Materials and moving toward the 70th anniversary of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (1956 - 2026).
Under the theme “Government - Enterprises - Universities: Joining Hands for Innovation”, the event serves as a bridge connecting knowledge and creating a platform for sharing technological trends and real-world workforce demands between a leading training institution and key industrial enterprises.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phu Duong, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Steel Corporation, presented a scholarship package worth VND 100,000,000 to the school’s scholarship fund on behalf of the corporation.

This scholarship initiative continues a meaningful tradition that VNSTEEL has sustained for over 20 years. These practical scholarships are not only awarded to students with outstanding academic and research achievements but also serve as timely encouragement for those facing financial difficulties who strive to excel at the Faculty of Materials Engineering, School of Materials, Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Huynh Trung Hai, Rector of the School of Materials, expressed sincere appreciation for the support from VNSTEEL’s leadership and participating enterprises. He emphasized that the funding will be directly allocated to the scholarship fund to best support students’ education and research activities.
